Meet Baytown’s Own, Dean Hutto, DDS
Dr. Dean Hutto was born and raised right here in the Baytown area, and he first started his practice when he graduated from the University of Texas Dental School in Houston in 1992. He is honored to serve patients every day with outstanding clinical skill and to also work alongside such a talented and dedicated team of professionals. Dental Education & Background
Following dental school, Dr. Hutto has continued to pursue further advanced education while also maintaining several professional memberships through some of the most prestigious dental organizations in the country. In the past, he has studied with Dr. Frank Spear at the Seattle Institute, Dr. Bill Strupp in Florida, Dr. Pete Dawson at The Dawson Institute for Learning, and more of the most renowned authorities in the dental field today. He’s also attended programs at the Misch International Implant Institute and the Hornbrook Group.

Dr. Hutto and his family have deep, deep roots in this great community. His grandparents moved here all the way back in 1927, and his parents actually used to own the famous Tower Restaurant. His dad was even the mayor for 12 years! His brothers are well-respected optometrists in the local area too.
Today, Dr. Hutto enjoys doing whatever he can to support his neighbors, both within his practice’s walls and outside of them. He regularly works with the following organizations:

Life Outside of the Dental Office
Whenever he’s not busy at work, Dr. Hutto spends his free time scuba diving, waterskiing, boating, and snow skiing. He has a wife named Gena and two sons named Blake and Brandon, a daughter-in-law Dyana who is married to Blake, and a grandson named Sutton. There are also two more very important members of the family – 3 dogs and Maxey the cat.
